Cardiovascular health is a very important part of your heath. Basically, what cardiovascular health is, is the heath of your heart. The word is created from the word cardio which means the act of doing exercises which increase your heart rate. It is important to work out your heart to help prevent diseases and to make it pump more efficiently. If you don't work out your heart you are risking yourself to get more diseases and it becomes more difficult to do basic activities. It usually takes around a few seconds of exercise for your heart rate to go up. Depending on the activity your heart rate will need fewer seconds to go up.
Some exercises use up more energy at once than others for example sprinting, jump rope, and cycling. Sprinting uses up energy nearly all at once and raises your heart rate very high at once, but cannot be usually done for over a few minutes. when you are doing jump rope the act of jumping raises your heart rate slowly and may take a few seconds for your heart rate to actually go up. Cycling starts out slowly, but keeps your heart rate at a constant level. At my school we usually jog to keep our hearts healthy.
